In the beginning of the year of Monkey, New Asia College and New Asia College Alumni Association co-organized the 2016 New Year's Gala at Choi Fook Royal Banquet on 26 February 2016. Over 300 friends, alumni and students participated.

Mr. Charles Leung, the chairperson of New Asia College Board of Trustees, Prof. Henry Wong, Head of the College and Mr. Wong Ho Chiu, chairperson of the New Asia College Alumni Association, delivered their welcoming remarks to the participants and also wished the College a prosperous new year 2016. The College also held a check presentation ceremony to express its gratitude to some major donors who attended the gala.

The atmosphere was enlivened by the professional music team of NA Band 1973. After the performance, the Alumni Association delivered a short auction session to raise funds for the "New Asia College Alumni Association Scholarship". Thanks are due to the many enthusiastic alumni who donated antiques and art pieces for the auction. The association raised around 200 thousand dollars for the scholarship.

The College would like to thank for the hard work of the Alumni Association, colleagues and students for organizing the party. We hope that our alumni and friends will participate in similar major College events in the future.
