The New Asia College and the New Asia College Alumni Association co-organized the 2014 New Year's Gala in Cuisine Royale Hopewell Centre, Wan Chai on 20^th February.

More than 300 people participated in this year's gala, filling twenty-nine tables. The University Council Chairman Mr. Leung Ying-wai Charles introduced the New Head of the New Asia College Professor Nai Ching Wong Henry in his speech. Prof. Wong who used to be the Head of the New Asia College had served the college for eight years and therefore knew about the college operation of the in great detail. Prof. Wong would lead the college into a new era. On the same night, a check presentation ceremony was held to show gratitude to the donors who had supported the college over the year. Finally, members of both the board of the college and the College Alumni Association toasted all participants and wished them a fruitful and joyful year.

There were wonderful performances at the gala. Students from the voice class sang several classic songs to celebrate the New Year. After the performances, it was the lucky draw. Every year, people who sponsor the prizes of the New Year's Gala ensure participants return with fruitful results. Apart from that, alumni of different classes and departments could meet up and use this opportunity to share their opinions on the development of the college with senior alumni. The event therefore also demonstrates a passing on of affection to the college from generation to generation.
