The Faculties of Engineering and Education at CUHK have launched an artificial intelligence (AI) education project with generous support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The Project, entitled the CUHK Jockey Club AI for the Future Project (中大賽馬會「智」為未來計劃), is aimed at driving changes to the secondary school educational system of Hong Kong. The Project is working with local pioneering schools to co-design an artificial intelligence (AI) curriculum for junior secondary forms, covering topics that include fundamentals in AI, AI ethics and the future of work. Pilot teaching of selected modules of the developed curriculum has started in April 2020.
