Mr. Yuen graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Personnel Management in 1977, and was affiliated to New Asia College during his undergraduate studies. After graduation, he devoted himself to corporate management and served a number of listed companies and large corporates, including Sun Hung Kai Securities Ltd., Henderson Land, Cheung Kong Holdings, Airport Authority, American International Group and Yue Tung Global Asset Management Ltd. He is now serving as Executive Director of LMC Management Consultancy Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Director of both Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Ltd. and Pine Care Group Ltd.
Mr. Yuen is also passionate about public and community service and had been appointed to various Government advisory committees, including the North District Council, Transport Advisory Committee, Consumer Council, Board of Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, Central Policy Unit, Insurance Advisory Committee and Heung Yee Kuk of the New Territories. He has just stepped down from The Council of CUHK, and is now serving in the Board of Directors of the CUHK Medical Centre. Mr. Yuen was named among Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 1992, and was appointed as Justice of the Peace in 1995. He was also awarded Medal of Honour in 2006.
Dr. Lam graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a bachelor degree in the Medicine (MBChB) Programme in 1991, and was affiliated to New Asia College during his undergraduate studies. After graduation, he first worked as a House Officer in the Prince of Wales Hospital, then Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer in several hospitals between 1992 and 2003, including the Prince of Wales Hospital, Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and United Christian Hospital. Dr. Lam also earned fellowships from different Medical Schools, including The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and American College of Surgeons. He started his private pratice in 2004.
Dr. Lam has also engaged public service and had been appointed to various Government advisory committees, including Health and Medical Development Advisory Committee and VHIS Consultative Group of the Food and Health Bureau. He was also a member of Medical Council of Hong Kong. Dr. Lam is now serving as a member of Election Committee of HKSAR and Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health. In the 2021 Legislative Council General Election, he was elected in the Medical and Health Service functional constituency.
