A 1999 graduate in Environmental Science, Ms. Tsang was a teacher at the CUHKFAA Chan Chun Ha Secondary School. After two failed summit attempts in 2014 and 2015, she became the first Hong Kong woman to scale the Himalayan peak in her third attempt in May 2017. Right after the summit, she was interviewed by CU Alumni where she talked about her climbing experience.
In pursuit of her goal, Ms. Tsang suffered from injuries and even gave up her teaching career in 2017 to focus on her climbing training. Her success set a very good example of perseverance and dedication.
