While the year of the Dog began, New Asia College and NACAA co-organised the Chinese New Year Party 2018 at Cuisine Royale, Wanchai on 9 March 2018. Over 300 alumni, students and friends of the College gathered to celebrate this festival with applauses and a series of fun activities.

Chairman of New Asia College Board of Trustees Mr. Charles Leung, Head of College Prof. Henry Wong Nai-ching and Chairman of the NACAA Mr. Yiu Chun-hong took turns to deliver their welcoming remarks and thanked alumni and various members of society for supporting the College, and wished that they would continue to support the preparation for the College's 70th Anniversary celebrations next year. The College also staged a cheque presentation ceremony to express its gratitude to ten donors who attended the party for their generous donations and their enthusiastic support last year.

This year's banquet party was co-organised by the College and the new NACAA Executive Committee, which added a new element by renting an instant photo taking machine and providing little props for the guests to create lively and funny photos. Guests of all generations alike enjoyed this activity. The College and the NACAA also invited the New Asia Chorus to perform two songs at the dinner party

The College would like to thank the NACAA, College staff and students for their cooperation and hard work in bringing about the successful conducting of the party. The College would also like to thank the masters of ceremony, including alumni Miss Coco Ma and Miss Anny Wong, and New Asia Young Scholars Miss Scylla Ng and Miss Wong Yick-chun, who contributed to the joyous atmosphere of the party. The College hopes to see even more College alumni and friends at next year's Chinese New Year Party, which will form part of the College's 70th Anniversary celebration programme.
