The First Lecture entitled "A New Study of Xunzi's Political Philosophy" was held at Lecture Theatre 2, Yasumoto International Academic Park, CUHK on the afternoon on 23 October, and was moderated by Professor Cheng Chung-yi of the Department of Philosophy of CUHK. The Second Lecture entitled "Liang Shuming on Confucian Ethics" was held at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK on the morning on 27 October, with Professor Wang Qingjie of the Department of Philosophy of CUHK as the moderator. The Third Lecture entitled "One Hundred Years of Confucianism" was held at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Central Library on the afternoon of 28 October, and was moderated by Professor Huang Yong of the Department of Philosophy of CUHK.
During these three lectures, Professor Chen illustrated to the audience the diversified Confucius spirit in the dimension of philosophy, human relations and history respectively. At the end of each lecture, Professor Chen was eager to share his academic experiences and insights with the audience, who in turn expressed their sincere thanks to Professor Chen for letting them learn much from the lectures.
