Our Lunar New Year Party 2014 organized by the New Asia College Staff Association was held on 14 February 2014 at Yun Chi Hsien, New Asia College. Hundreds of colleagues celebrated the Western Valentine's Day, simultaneously with the Lantern Festival. The chairperson of NACSA, Dr. William Lau, gave his warmest greetings to all members and urged everyone to enjoy the delicious POON CHOI (盆菜). Professor Henry N.C. Wong, Head of the College, also attended the party and shared the happy gathering with staff.
The party featured a brilliant performance by Mr. Kelvin Cheung who brought much joy to the party. One of his sleights of hand magic tricks turned a twenty dollar note into a five-hundred dollar note amazed the audience. In addition, NACSA had prepared over 40 lucky draw prizes including tablet, electronic oven etc. for the participants. The party ended with much joy and laughter. We wished everyone a healthy and prosperous new year and look forward to the party next year.
