New Asia Young Scholars Scheme aims at promoting whole-person development among our students, empowering their passion for Chinese culture, and equipping them with qualities such as sensitivity to social issues and leadership skills.

New Asia Young Scholars Scheme 2015/2016 officially commenced in September 2015. Ten New Asia Young Scholar Students have been participating in a series of events, including College Meetings, talks held by the College, and alumni activities to communicate and learn from professors, alumni and The Council of the College. In October 2015, the experienced journalist Mr. Michael NG Ming Lam held the "Communication and Emcee Skills Workshop – Communication, the Essential First Step" for the Students and they acquired a knowledge of speech delivery, being MCs and communication skills. They also joined the "Image Building Workshop" held by Ms. Ma Ho Yi, a professional M.C. and visagiste to work at constructing a positive and suitable image for themselves.
