The College's 68th Graduation Ceremony was held at the University Mall on 7 November 2019. It was our honor to have invited Professor Mayching Kao, Honorary Fellow and former Chair Professor of Fine Arts cum former Director of Art Museum of CUHK, to officiate at the Ceremony. A total of 790 graduates were awarded graduation certificates this year.
The Ceremony was attended by some 50 trustees, guests and teaching staff, who, together with graduates' friends and family members, shared the students' joy of achievement on the occasion.
Acting Head of the College Professor Chu Ka-hou congratulated the graduates, and encouraged them to keep their faith and courage when faced with future challenges through upholding the spirit of "cheng" (sincerity) and "ming" (intelligence) of the College's motto and stressing on the integration of knowledge and morals, saying that they would find their goals and directions after continual trials and experiences. Professor Chu then introduced the officiating guest Professor Mayching Kao, who urged graduates to cherish their families and friends and to always put into practice their core values when planning for their future, while bearing in mind the spirit of the College's anthem in striving for personal growth.
After the Ceremony, Professor Chu led the trustees, guests, staff members and graduates to the New Asia Amphitheatre for taking group photos, and officiated with Chairman of NACAA Mr. Anthony Yiu at the "New Asia Amphitheatre Extension Project Works Completion Ceremony".
