The New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2015/16 (2nd Lecture) by Mr. Pun Ka-yeung

This year, the second New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2015/16 was held at Yun Chi Hsien on 29 October 2015.  The College was privileged that Mr. Pun Ka-yeung, Simon, a young entrepreneur, agreed to be guest speaker for the lecture.  Simon, who started a business in Guangxi at an early age and is currently the CEO of several food and logistic companies, delivered a lecture entitled "The Hard Thing about Hard Things in Business".  Simon shared his own experience of setting up a business and managing the business in China with the guests and students.  The moderator of the lecture was Professor Wan Yau-heng, Associate College Head of New Asia College.

As an alumnus of New Asia College and a graduate in Economics, Simon generously shared about his entrepreneurship, how to make decisions, how to manage the time effectively as well as how to keep a good relationship between investors, clients and colleagues of his companies.  He encouraged students to make decisions based on personal ability, qualification and previous experience. In particular, he recommended  a "keep going, don't be afraid of failure" attitude in business.
