New Asia College Mentorship Programme 2016-17 Reunion Dinner

The Mentorship Programme 2016-17 Reunion Dinner was held at Yun Chi Hsien at 6pm, 11 March 2017. The College would like to take this opportunity to thank all mentors who generously donated their time and energy on mentoring their mentees and congratulates mentees who learnt a lot from the program. Many of the mentors are newcomers to the program. These mentors are concerned about student development and keen to contribute to the College. New and experienced mentors gathered together and shared their experiences with mentors and mentees during the evening.

Before the dinner, College Head Professor Wong Nai-ching Henry and the vice-chairman of New Asia College Alumni Association, Mr. Yiu Chun-hong Anthony, expressed their deepest gratitude to our mentors for their efforts paid in nourishing the students. The College invited two mentors to share their exceptional experience during the course of mentorship. Mr. Lee Yuk-hung (74, Biology) and Ms. Tse Hoi-ying (07, Journalism and Communication) were assigned to the same group this year. As graduates of very different decades, Mr. Lee also treated Ms. Tse as his mentee and shared a lot of valuable experience with Ms. Tse. Mr. Lee also maintains relationships with his previous mentees. This story inspired the participants of the program a lot.

During the dinner, participants talked about everything. Some mentors even shared interesting stories of the time they lived in the College. It was another memorable night.

The College invites New Asia Alumni who graduated at least five years ago to become mentors. Together we will nourish the new generations of New Asia College.
