On April 17, a group of over thirty distinguished guests comprising the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College, Mr. Charles Leung, Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President, Professor Michael Hui, College Head, Professor Henry Wong, trustees, alumni who graduated in the 1950s', college staff and students celebrated at the Completion Ceremony of Kweilin Street Public Open Space (New Asia College Former Site). The ceremony was officiated by the Chairman of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), Mr. Victor So Hing-who, Mr. Charles Leung and the Chairman of Sham Shui Po District Council, Mr. Jimmy Kwok Chun-wah.
Mr. Charles Leung especially thanked the URA for their great support for this project, which allows college members and the public to commemorate former New Asia College site. The Kweilin Street Public Open Space displays a series of artifacts. A name tablet with the inscription "Former Site of New Asia College" by Sinologist Professor Jao Tsung-I is on display. There is also a monolithic water wall with a design inspired by the College motto "Sincerity and Intelligence". An engraved panel reproducing the College emblem is placed in front of the water wall. Another plaque engraved with an old hand script of the College anthem by the founding College President, Mr. Ch'ien Mu, is also exhibited. A historic text and inscription written by Professor Yu Ying Shih, one of the College's first graduates, are engraved on a Heritage Wall.
