| The 63rd Graduation Ceremony | |

The College's 63rd Graduation Ceremony was held on 20 November 2014 at the University Mall. We were honored to have invited alumnus Professor Ip Wing-huen, Vice Chancellor of the University System of Taiwan and astronomer, to be the guest of honor. This year, there were a total of 779 graduates turning a new leaf in their life. The Ceremony was attended by some 50 Trustees, guests and teaching staff and around 2,500 graduates and their relatives, joining the College on this happy occasion. Professor N.C. Wong, College Head, introduced Professor Ip and encouraged graduates to strive for a bright future and learn from Professor Ip in contributing to the alma mater. Professor Ip then shared his interpretations and experience of the New Asia spirit, the cosmology of "harmony between the man and the nature", and urged graduates to make efforts for the betterment of the human race. After the Ceremony, Professor Wong led the Trustees, guests, staff members and graduates to the College Concourse for photo-taking. A tree-planting ceremony was subsequently held at the lawn adjacent to the Ch'ien Mu Library. |
