In celebration of the 50th anniversary of graduation for the graduates of 1967, a group of alumni of the class year established an Executive Committee of 50-year Reunion of Class 1967 to organise a series of events. On the afternoon of 30 September, over 30 alumni and their family members took a shuttle bus to the New Asia Middle School on Farm Road (former site of New Asia College) to trace their footsteps in the times past. Apart from taking photos everywhere, they sang the College Anthem together in the Pavilion, the iconic lecture theatre of the Farm Road campus. After the visit to New Asia Middle School, the participants were shuttled to the Shatin campus for a CUHK campus tour, with a special visit to the New Asia History Archive.
The Class of 1967. NAC. Golden Jubilee Reunion Dinner was held in Yun Chi Hsien that evening. The reunion committee announced at the dinner that they had raised over HK$0.5 million to establish a "1967 Alumni Golden Jubilee Reunion Scholarship" to give back to their alma mater. Photos of the years past were also shown on screen, and the alumni were keen to share anecdotes from their college days. The College would like to thank the Executive Committee of 50-year Reunion of Class 1967 for their tremendous efforts in making this event a big success.
