International Symposium on Silk Road Linguistics

The International Symposium on Silk Road Linguistics, organized by the T. T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre (CLRC) of the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and sponsored by the CUHK Research Summit Series, will be held on 30–31 May 2024 at CUHK. Greater Bay Area Forum on Chinese Grammar

The Greater Bay Area Forum on Chinese Grammar, organized by CLRC and co-organized by the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao University Alliance for Chinese, will be held on 26 June 2024 at CUHK. For the details of the Forum, please visit:

The Tenth Inter-Regional Forum on Dialectal Grammar

The Inter-Regional Forum on Dialectal Grammar (IRF) was initiated by CUHK and Sun Yat-sen University in 2015. Since extending its partnership with Fudan University in 2017, IRF has become an academic event organized rotationally by these three institutions as a platform intended to foster research on dialectal grammar under a comparative approach, focusing on southeastern Chinese dialects like Yue and Wu dialects, to promote interregional studies, and to strengthen intellectual exchange and dialogue among researchers from different regions.
