Mr Matthew LI, a Year 4 student majoring in Global Economics and Finance and the recipient of Liao Yuan Tung Memorial Scholarship this year, delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of scholarship recipients. As an exceptionally active and enthusiastic member of the College, Mr LI shared with the donors and mentors on an everyday life episode among College students—'the fruit party' at the main pantry on the fourth floor of the College hostel, where students of different nationalities and in different majors gathered after dinner like a family to enjoy fruit, chats and debates about anything including serious topics such as local social issues. He regarded this small episode a great example to show how the College vision, '4Is' ('Intimate', 'International', 'Intellectual' and 'Involved') had become part of students' daily lives. He concluded his speech with sincere thanks to the benefactors for their generous support to the College and students.
