The CUHK Bridge to China Team is a university volunteering team formed under this Centre with the support and guidance from Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation. Since 2009, the team has participated and organised numerous investigation trips on villages, bridge building projects and public health programmes with the help of CUHK students.
The CUHK Bridge to China Team of this academic year is now recruiting core members. They are required to cooperate with the universities in the Mainland and of Hong Kong to understand and cater the needs of the villagers through coordinating projects for livelihood improvement. Details are as follows:
Requirements
- Non final-year students
- Able to communicate in basic Mandarin
- Term of service: 12 months (late-October 2020 - early-October 2021)
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Interested in understanding the challenges experienced by remote villages in the Mainland
- Students from all disciplines are welcomed
