CUHK Alumni Homecoming was held on 29 November 2014. Over five thousand local and overseas alumni flew back to CUHK, bringing along their relatives and friends. A wide array of activities brightened the day's programme, including Martial Arts Performance, Variety Show, Carnival Booths, Children's Programmes, Selfie Studio on The University Mall, College Tour by School Bus, Banquet for Colleges and Graduate School etc. The game stall hosted by New Asia College Alumni Association won the "Most Popular Award".
2015 is even more meaningful as it is the 65th Anniversary of New Asia College. On 29 November 2014, New Asia College and New Asia College Alumni Association co-organised the "Popular Cantonese Ditty Gala Concert" in the Shaw College Lecture Theatre of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. There were over one hundred performing groups from different graduation classes and students from the Voice Class. The concert was divided into two sections with a total of 32 famous Cantonese songs, including a number of Golden Oldies of Chinese Opera. The concert was rounded off with the Cantata of "Wu Dai Tong Tang" (meaning the harmony of five generations of the family gathering together) and thunderous applause. New Asia College also held The New Asia College Head's Dinner at the New Asia College Gymnasium (Staff/ Student Centre - Leung Hung Kee Building) that night. Over three hundred local and overseas alumni with their relatives and friends gathered and spent a wonderful night together. All guests enjoyed impressive Oldies music with the New Asia 1973 Band headlining the performance.
