After the screening, the two guests were interviewed by host Regine Lin (20/Government and Public Administration). When asked why he chose “developer hegemony” and Kwun Tong as the themes of the movie, Adam shared that the industrial area of Kwun Tong was where he started his creative works. This experience allows him to empathize with the hardship faced by young people today who are starting their careers in industrial buildings.
Adam and Saville also mentioned that the movie was already completed back in 2018, but at the time they have doubts on whether the movie can be shown. It is believed by many that creativity is gradually being stifled. Adam and Saville said they would continue their work with whatever space available.
Thanks to the support from NACAA, the event was held smoothly. Our gratitude to NACAA for their arrangements.
