Every year, the programme "New Asia College/ Hertford College of Oxford University Study Abroad and Cultural Exploration Programme" attracts a large number of student applications, which makes it very competitive.

The twenty selected students attended a three-week programme in Hertford College from 5-25 July 2015. The major objective of the programme is to enhance the language proficiency of students and to give them first hand exposure to English culture. The programme includes English language learning, visits and cultural exploration and exchange with local students. The students may also have the chance to meet with teaching staff of Oxford University for a deeper understanding of the local culture. Each participating student will receive a scholarship from the College, which is funded by the Mrs. Chou Wen Hsien and Ms. Yim Wan Chun Ina Scholarships and Dr. K. L. Wong Scholarships.
