During the camp, students took part in a wide variety of challenging activities, e.g. You Draw · I Guess, Amazing Race, Knots of Love, Hong Kong's Got Talent and Spaghetti Bridge, to enhance their critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, communication skills and self-confidence. The camp also offered participants a taste of traditional hall life and high table dinner experience.
Another highlight is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held alongside the camp. Students were required to formulate a business plan and innovative solutions towards the challenges encountered by the adolescents in Hong Kong, and then present their proposals on the last day of the camp. Professionals from business, academic and social service sectors were invited to serve as advisors and adjudicators of the competition. They were all impressed by the inspiring ideas of the students, e.g. a mobile app to assist adolescents in cultivating healthy lifestyle, a company to provide services for students to study overseas on exchange.
This 5-day-and-4-night camp was well-concluded by a closing ceremony held on 8 June. The organisers, trainers, mentors and participants have undergone a memorable and rewarding week.
