The 40th Year Reunion of Class 1978 was held at Yun Chi Hsien at 4:00 p.m. on 17 November (Saturday), when over 90 New Asia graduates of 1978 came back to the alma mater with their family members to talk about their recent happenings with their former college mates and professors on this joyous occasion. Participants took this valuable opportunity to revisit every corner of the campus together, including going to the New Asia History Gallery and looking for their names engraved on the graduate plaques at New Asia Concourse. Alumni from various Departments also went on stage to relate anecdotes within or without the campus in the old days.
A dinner banquet was held at Yun Chi Hsien at 7:00 p.m. that day, and the Head of College Professor Henry Wong and President of the NACAA Mr. Anthony Yiu delivered their welcoming remarks. Members of the Executive Committee of the NACAA were also invited to introduce NACAA's work and the activities they organised. Delightful musical performances were delivered by alumni Ms. Angela Li (English), Mr. Dominic Wu (English) and Mr. David Lo (Business Administration) during the banquet. The participants much enjoyed the popular old songs they performed.
