Mr. Francis Ngai, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong, officiated the ceremony and presented awards to the winning teams JUST FEEL, Hot Bath, Walkpner, and Re-Look. The former team was granted HK$100,000 from the CUSE Fund as seed money and the latter three received the Certificate of Merit being a token of encouragement to them to continue addressing social issues with innovative and sustainable solutions. In addition, four of the mentors of the Social Enterprise Startup Scheme turned up and shared with participants their experiences and insights on establishing enterprises.
As for the briefing on the Social Enterprise Startup Scheme, it covered the forthcoming "Training Activity (I)" and the application procedures for CUSE Fund. Participants were expected to enhance their knowledge of how their social mission could be actualised through those activities.
