The New Asia Young Scholars Scheme aims at promoting whole-person development among our students, igniting their passion for Chinese culture, and equipping them with sensitivity to social issues and leadership skills. Mr. Lam Chi-chiu Roland and our College Trustee Ms. Wong Oi-yee Michell have generously supported the programme since 2014.
This year, scholars' parents and many guests, including our donors Mr. Lam Chi-chiu Roland and Ms. Wong Oi-yee Michell, and voluntary mentors Professor Ting Sun-pao Joseph, Mr. Wong Ho-chiu and Dr. Ng Kai-chiu, were invited to attend the Dinner, the ambience of which was lively and cheerful.
The Inauguration Dinner marked the successful completion of the year-long training of the 6th batch of New Asia Young Scholars, and the initiation of the 7th batch of New Asia Young Scholars. In the coming year, the ten new Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in a series of events, including various College meetings, talks and alumni activities, to communicate and learn from professors, alumni and trustees of the College. We wish the New Asia Young Scholars a prosperous year, during which they would undertake the mission to promote Chinese culture.
