| New Asia College/Hunan University/Soochow University Summer Exchange Programme | |

This programme aims at encouraging cultural exchange between Hong Kong and mainland students. 30 participants from the Hunan University and Soochow University visited our College from 15 to 21 July 2013. While staying in Hong Kong, participants joined a number of activities, including visits to various units at CUHK, government offices and non-governmental organizations as well as attending various student functions. 20 New Asia students paid a reciprocal visit to Hunan University in Changsha before heading for a remote village to teach the students from the less-advantaged families. This year, to further enrich and deepen the cultural exchange with the mainland students, a trip to Suzhou has also been arranged. Our students have learnt much about the local culture and history after visiting the Soochow University, typical classical gardens and the Suzhou Museum. The programme came to an end on 6 August. |
