During the cooking class, Korean instructor Ms. LEE Soo Jeong demonstrated how to prepare two traditional Korean dishes: kimchi and kimbap. For kimchi, participants used chili powder, fish sauce, shrimp sauce, flour and other ingredients to mix into the Chinese cabbage by hands. Ms. Lee then taught the class how to make a traditional kimbap roll by using Korean hams, red and white radishes, spinach, eggs and other ingredients.
Designed for beginners, this class was very easy and some of the participants even brought their children to join. With Ms. Lee’s expert demonstration and guidance, they all have good grasp of the cooking skills and brought home these two delicious dishes.
