The 12th Thousand-people Banquet of Hong Kong Asia Lions Club

In collaboration with New Asia College, the Thousand-people Banquet organized by the Hong Kong Asia Lions Club was held on 15 November 2015 on the New Asia College campus. This was the 12th year that the event has been held in New Asia College. There were ninety-six tables of guests with more than half of the tables attended by senior citizens.

During the banquet, a delicious poon choi (big bowl feast) was served, gifts and red packets were given out, and entertaining performances were staged. Ms. Chan Ka-kai sang several old popular songs. Members from Hong Kong Asia Lions Club and some other guests sang the Cantonese version of "It's A Small World".

The banquet came to an end at 8:30pm when there was a faint chill in the air, yet the seniors left with a cheerful spirit and a lovely gift bag. The College took the opportunity to wish their guests a healthy and prosperous life.
