In addition to the various activities held in the first semester, which included "Communication and Emcee Skills Workshop – Communication, the Essential First Step", Image Building Workshop, Chinese Arts workshop and the chances to sit in a College internal meetings, a series of activities were also held in the second semester.
The New Asia Young Scholar Students had the opportunity to have a lunch gathering with different parties, which included guest speakers of College Lectures, teachers and New Asia alumni. They also had a chance to be the emcee at the Chinese New Year Party 2016.
Dr. Chui Pui-chee, Professor Ho Man-wui Richard and Professor Ng Kai-chiu were invited a third year as voluntary mentors. While having luncheons with New Asia Young Scholar Students in a relaxing environment, they conversed on diverse topics with the students. New Asia College again expresses heartfelt gratitude for the precious time the three mentors spent sharing their enthusiasm for Chinese culture with students and enhancing their understanding of Arts, Literature and Language and Philosophy.
In addition, it was our honor to have Dr. Ting Sun-pao Joseph & Mr. Wong Ho-chiu led our students on a two-day local community and historical sites visit to Guangzhou, which our students benefited from enormously.
