Professor John Lagerwey contributed a chapter, titled “Basic Questions for Fieldwork on Pre-1949 Chinese Society” (pp.109-24), in Fieldwork in Modern Chinese History: A Research Guide (Routledge, 2019), a book co-edited by Professor Jan Kiely.
Professor Ling Minhua’s article “Container Housing: Formal Informality and Deterritorialised Home-making amid Bulldozer Urbanism in Shanghai” was published in Urban Studies (see https://doi.org/10.1177/0042098019899353). Additionally, Professor Ling’s book, The Inconvenient Generation: Migrant Youth Coming of Age on Shanghai’s Edge, was officially released in January 2020 (Stanford University Press).
Dr. Tim Summers authored two journal articles. The first is “Negotiating the Boundaries of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)”, in Environment and Planning C: Politics and Space.
