S.H. Ho College Runners Go for Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon

Over the past years, S.H Ho College Runner Force has been keen on joining Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, the city's annual big hit. Last year, it was a tough race for the SHHO runners as they needed to complete it on a rainy day. But this year the runners enjoyed a brisk morning and made their best performance in the race.

On 12 February, 50 SHHO runners, comprising of students, alumni, staff and members took part in the event. Some of them felt excited because it was their first marathon attempt. Most of them tried half marathon and 10 km route and a few challenged themselves with full marathon. To get ready for the race, they not only participated in the basic regular training but also went to Hong Kong Island for a special training for team building one week prior to the event. With good preparation, everyone was able to finish the race with satisfactory results.
