The reunion of New Asia College Class 1982 was held on 17 November to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their graduation. Over 90 alumni came back to the College for this event. After enjoying tea and singing College Anthem at the Staff Canteen, the alumni took this valuable opportunity to trace their footsteps and revisit the campus to see the development and changes of the College. Then the group gathered at the New Asia Concourse to search for their own names on the plaques where names of all graduates were carved.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of their graduation, a tree planting ceremony was held at the lawn in front of the Confucius Statue, which was followed by the old photos sharing session. The reunion dinner started at 6:30 pm in the Staff Canteen. During this precious reunion event, the graduate class set up the "1982 Alumni Scholarship" in order to repay the College and continue the "New Asia Spirit" by awarding juniors with good academic performance. Thanks to the kind support and generous donation of the alumni, the overall fund-raising result was satisfying.
