Scholars and students of eight units (including universities and a youth group) from the Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong were invited to the forum comprising a workshop for the youth only and a symposium for all participants. They are expected to launch in-depth discussions on the teaching and learning methods concerning the forum's theme. Such discussions may stimulate the participants' reflection on social innovation strategies which will bring significant impact on poverty and on the welfare of the underprivileged.
On the first two days of the forum, the youth will gather at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre for a workshop packed with sharing sessions and a series of thematic activities. A community study of Shum Shui Po has also been arranged. As for the last day of the forum, there will be a symposium held at CUHK where participants will share their strategies on inclusive social innovation, and their experience in the implementation of university social responsibility.
