兩岸綠色建築評價標準對比研究
簡介：自2016年開始，由中國城市住宅研究中心主任鄒經宇教授領導海峽兩岸綠色建築領域專家學者執行「中華人民共和國住房和城鄉建設部2016年科學技術項目計劃—兩岸綠色建築評價標準對比研究」。於2017年3月至8月期間，中國城市住宅研究中心及相關合作單位共同舉辦「第五屆兩岸綠色建築評價標準對比研究論壇」及多個相關學術討論會和參訪交流活動。

Description: Observed the practices of MTR on standard operation, monitoring, and emergency plan for mass urban mobility management and the humanistic approaches adopted to guide people flow in the high-capacity public realm, co-led by Mr. Chan Chun-hong Felix, Part-time Lecturer of Center for Housing Innovations and Dr. LEUNG Chan-man Philip, Manager, Building Engineering & Architecture of MTR Corporation Ltd.

2016/17 International Study Programmes @ Japan
Description: A scenario-based research programme composed of activities with various forms was organised for comparative study of Hong Kong and Japan on social, cultural and environmental issues. Major investigated issues included urban planning and design strategies, traditional architecture conservation and renaissance, adaptive social-environmental solutions for the demographic ageing, green building technologies and construction approaches.

Diary of Staying with the Senior Adults
Description: Organised direct observation research about everyday life pattern of the ageing cohort by arranging "Diary of Staying with the Senior Adults" at the nursing home and an outing to Mai Po. Over 20 senior adults participated in this programme.

2016/17 International Study Programmes @ Hong Kong – Right to the Age-friendly Community
Description: A scenario-based research programme dedicated to investigate preoccupations in the realm of urban and community studies entailed by the demographic ageing under high-density urban context. Emphasis was put on the daily life pattern and neighborhood place making for adapt to the ageing society. The programme was composed of a series of activities, including seminars, lectures, field studies and collaborative workshops, with multi-disciplinary focuses.

Description: A scenario-based research programme composed of a series of field studies targeted at the urban context of San Francisco Bay Area and California, USA was organised to explore the technology and planning solutions for sustainable human habituate. The theme was subdivided into energy efficiency techniques and urban and natural landscape.

2017/18 Field Investigations on Hong Kong Public Housing Planning and Design
Description: Led by senior experts of Hong Kong Housing Authority, field investigations to Housing Exhibition Center, Upper Ngau Tau Kok Estate and Lam Tin Estate were organised to generalise the progress of Hong Kong public housing development and look into the people-oriented approaches applied for place making and community cohesion build-up.

Report Release of the CUHK Hong Kong Quality of Life Index 2016
Description: The quality of life in Hong Kong generally improved in the past year, which is also an increase for the first time since 2010. The Economic sub-index has increased for the first time in ten years; the Health, Social, Culture and Leisure, and Environmental sub-indices increased as well.

Report Release of Results of the Quarterly Survey (June 2017) on Public Perception of the Economic Conditions
Description: Indices of Consumer Confidence, Consumer Sentiment and Employment Confidence are reported. Indices of Consumer Confidence and Consumer Sentiment decreased while the index of employment confidence improved, as compared to the last quarter (March 2017). All indices improved as compared to the same quarter of 2016 (June 2016).

Description: The domains of Psychological Well-being, Society, Economics, Education, Politics and Living Environment have improved, while the domains of Physical Health and Overall Well-being have declined in 2016/17 as compared with the corresponding period last year.
