| New Asia History Gallery Feature Exhibition: Ch'ien Mu Manuscripts Exhibition and Book Launch | |

A Feature Exhibition of the New Asia History Gallery showcasing manuscripts of Mr. Ch'ien Mu was held from 1st to 13th December 2014 at Hui Gallery. The Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition, as well as the book launch for Ch'ien Mu Xiansheng Shuxinji (A Collection of Professor Ch'ien Mu's Correspondence with his family members and students at New Asia College) was held at Hui Gallery on 6 December. Mr. Charles Leung, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Henry Wong, Head of the College, delivered welcoming remarks at the ceremony. Mr. Wong Ho-chiu and Dr. Steven Luk, the editors of the publication, were also invited to share a few words about the preparation of the book. The College has recently received a generous donation from Mr. Lee Kai-man of a piece of calligraphy which was given to Mr. Yan K'eng-wang by Mr. Ch'ien Mu in the 1940's. A ceremony for this donation was held at the exhibition's opening. The piece is currently displayed at the New Asia History Gallery. |
