The Ceremony was attended by over 50 Trustees, guests and teaching staff members and around 2,500 graduates and relatives, all sharing the students' joy of achievement on the occasion.
Head of College Professor Henry Wong introduced our officiating guest Mr. Wong, then urged graduates to bear in mind the "New Asia Spirit" and encouraged them to keep their faith and sincerity with a broad mind when confronted with difficulties. As a College alumnus, Mr. Wong shared with graduates the quotes from Mr. Hu Shi and Mr. Chi'en Mu about the importance of sincerity and encouraged graduates to shoulder the mission of promoting Chinese culture and advancing with ardour and a broad mind.
After the Ceremony, Professor Wong led the trustees, guests, staff members and graduates to the College Concourse for taking group photos. A commemorative tree-planting ceremony was subsequently held by the graduate representatives under the lead of Professor Wong at the lawn adjacent to the Ch'ien Mu Library.
