The First Research Centre on Big Data among Local Tertiary Institutions

CUHK has established the first research centre on big data among local tertiary institutions, namely, Stanley Ho Big Data Decision Analytics Research Centre, to encourage multi-disciplinary data-intensive research projects within the University in the hope of bringing new insights in applications across many domains. New Bookstore at New College: Timing Bookstore

Located at the G/F of Chan Chun Ha Hall of S.H. Ho College, "Timing Bookstore" is an experiment bookstore run by a group of students and alumni which aims to promote a new reading experience alongside selling book. Wrapping books with only a sentence from it written on the cover, inviting people to buy a book for the next visitor, arranging books based on their colour rather than their content…are some experiments that "Timing" try to enrich readers' experience.
