The 12th Higher Education Management Training Programme in Tsinghua University

The 12th Higher Education Management Training Programme, jointly organized by Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Ministry of Education (MOE), and Education, Science and Technology Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, was held in Tsinghua University from 10 to 17 October 2010.

Thirty-four professors and administrators from 9 tertiary institutions in Hong Kong took part in the programme, among which 3 were from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The programme included a series of seminars on higher education, judicial systems, national defense, as well as the political, social and economic developments in Mainland China. Participants also visited Peking University and met with MOE officials and representatives of Tsinghua University for exchange. The 7-day programme provided a great opportunity for participants from Hong Kong education sector to obtain valuable knowledge on higher education institutions and the recent development of Mainland China.
