| The 66th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony & Luncheon | |

The 66th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held at Sir Run Run Hall on 25 September 2015. This year, Professor Daniel T.L. SHEK, Associate Vice President (Undergraduate Program) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Senior College Tutor of New Asia College, was our Guest of Honor. With kind donations from our trustees, alumni and people from all walks of life, over 150 scholarships were presented to more than 400 students who have demonstrated excellent performance in various ways. A luncheon was held at Yun Chi Hsien after the Presentation Ceremony for donors and guests, as well as a number of student recipients. It served as a great opportunity for students to not only express their sincerest gratitude in person, but also learn more about the meaning behind the scholarships and the spirit of giving. In the brief acceptance speech from this year's Cheng Ming Awardees, Lo Sik-wai (Faculty of Law) and Lai Shuk-man (Translation), thanked the donors for their generosity and the College for the education and guidance throughout the years on behalf of all scholarship recipients. They said the New Asia Spirit would continue to guide them in their future endeavors. |
