Delegation from China Astronaut Research and Training Center
Prof. Bai Yanqiang, Vice Director of the China Astronaut Research and Training Center (ACC) led a delegation to visit The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 8 March 2013 to discuss further collaboration opportunities in space medicine and medico-engineering.
CUHK warmly welcomed the delegation. During the visit, Prof. Bai and the delegates met with CUHK senior management members, including Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and representatives from Faculties of Medicine and Engineering. Prof. Fok introduced to the delegation the University's latest development and its outstanding research areas. The delegation also gave a presentation on the latest research projects of ACC. Discussions were held on expanding research projects and potential collaboration.
The delegates next visited related laboratories and research facilities in Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Engineering, where they met with relevant academic members to enhance understanding on specific areas.
Since the signing of the Letter of Intent on Collaboration in 2006, CUHK and ACC have started collaboration projects in Chinese Medicine, Biomedical Engineering and Musculoskeletal System. Furthermore, the two parties established the CUHK-ACC Space Medicine Center on Health Maintenance of Musculoskeletal System (Shenzhen Branch of State Key Lab of Basic and Applied Space Medicine). The visit had strengthened CUHK's linkage with ACC and scaled new collaboration with specific projects.

Delegation from China Academy of Space Technology
Prof. Yang Baohua, President of China Academy of Space Technology led a delegation to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 28 March 2013 with the aim of establishing linkage and exploring collaboration opportunities with the Shenzhen Research Institute of CUHK.
The delegation was received by Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Robert Li, Co-Director of Institute of Network Coding; Prof. Wu Keli, Director of Radio-frequency Radiation Research Laboratory; Prof. Lin Hui, Director of Institute of Space and Earth Information Science; and Prof. Qian Huihuan, Deputy Director of Advanced Robotics Laboratory. The delegates visited relevant laboratories and research facilities after the meeting, learning more about the latest research projects of CUHK.
Prof. Yang was impressed by the rapid developments of the University. Through the visit, the delegation obtained more information about CUHK and fostered friendship for further collaboration.

Mr. Li Lu, Deputy Director General, Department of Educational, Scientific and Technological Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 7 March 2013. He met with Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK to obtain information about student exchange between CUHK and mainland institutions.

Prof. Li Fei, Vice President of Wuhan University led a 23-member delegation of China Education Association for International Exchange to visit The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 11 March 2013. The delegation met with Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK to establish close links and learn more about the latest developments of the University.
