The Orientation Ceremony for the freshmen of the Division of Biomedical Sciences, SBS was held on 5 Aug 2011 in Room 202, Basic Medical Sciences Building, CUHK. Organized by the Executive Committee of Postgraduate Student Association of School of Biomedical Sciences (PSASBS), the Ceremony attracted more than 30 SBS staff members and students to attend. The Ceremony was officiated by Prof. Wai-Yee Chan, SBS Director. Prof. Chan delivered an opening speech and expressed his warmest welcome and best wishes for the freshmen. During the Ceremony, Prof. Wood-Yee Chan, SBS Associate Director (Graduate Education), briefed participants about the organization of the PSASBS. Afterwards, Ms. Shen Gu, Chairperson of the Executive Committee of PSASBS, introduced to the participants members of the Executive Committee and its future plans. The Ceremony was followed by some ice-breaking games to help the freshmen get familiar with each other. The day was full of joy and harmony. |
