The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has been active in academic exchange since its establishment. The Committee of Academic Links (CAL) was established in 1991 to advise on the directions for linkage development and to formulate strategic plans for academic collaboration with higher institutions and organizations outside Hong Kong. Office of Academic Links (China) [OALC] is committed to implementing CAL's policy guidelines for academic links development of the University and to facilitating the development of partnership and deep research collaborations with mainland and Taiwan institutions.
OALC acts as a central coordinating agent among the Faculty/ School/ Department/ Units and relevant potential partners to facilitate the establishment of collaborative initiatives.
