Prof. Anthony Chan, Associate Director of SKL of Oncology in South China (CUHK), and Prof. Ling Wenhua, Director of Office of International Collaboration & Exchange Office for Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan Affairs, SYSU, delivered the opening addresses. Academicians Prof. Zeng Yixin, Prof. Kung Hsiangfu, together with Prof. Ma Jun, Prof. Chan Tak-cheung Anthony and Prof. To Ka-fai, co-chaired the meeting. Collaborative projects particularly in cancers common in southern China were discussed and around 60 posters were presented. The meeting strengthened mutual understanding and collaborative efforts in striving for research excellence between SYSU and CUHK.
