Delegation from National Office for Science and Technology Awards

A delegation headed by Mr. Zhou Dating, Director of National Office for Science and Technology Awards visited CUHK on 31 May. The aim of the visit was to obtain more information about the development of science and technology of CUHK.

The delegation met with Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof. Jack Cheng and Prof. Henry Wong, representatives from Research Administration Office and Office of Academic Links (China). During the meetings, CUHK representatives gave an introduction to the development of the University and highlighted the accomplishments in its areas of excellence. The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory (SKL) of Agrobiotechnology (CUHK) and met with Prof. Samuel Sun, Director and Prof. Lam Hon Ming, Associate Director of the SKL.

 

The delegation was impressed by the rapid development of CUHK. The visit had also enhanced communication between the two parties.
