Looking for Microsoft software for your department/unit/home use? The University has recently renewed the Microsoft Campus Agreement from 1 Jun 2014 to 31 May 2015. Under the Agreement, departments/units can run a range of Microsoft software on University-owned PCs at no cost. Staff can also install the licensed software on a home PC for work–related purpose.

Available Software

1. Microsoft Desktop Campus (All Languages):
   • Windows Operating System (OS) Upgrades (include Windows 8.1 Enterprise Upgrade);
   • Office Professional Plus 2013 and Office Standard for Mac 2011;
   • Visual Studio Professional 2012*;
   • Core CAL Suite (Windows Server CAL, Exchange Server Standard CAL-Device CAL, Office Sharepoint Server Standard CAL Device CAL, and System Management Server Client ML);
2. Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack 2012;
3. Microsoft Project Pro; 2013*;
4. Microsoft VISIO Prem 2013* and
5. Microsoft SQL Server Client Access License (CAL) - Device CAL

* Note: Starting from 1 Jun 2015, the following software will not be covered in Microsoft Campus Agreement

• Microsoft Project Pro
• Microsoft VISIO Prem
• Visual Studio Professional

Work at Home Use Right

Under the Work at Home Use Rights, staff is eligible to run a copy of various Microsoft software such as OS upgrades and Office Professional Plus, for work-related purpose only, on a home PC. To exercise your work at home rights, please register here.
