A 5-member delegation led by Prof. Guo Xin-Li, Vice Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, visited CUHK on 18 November. The delegation met with Prof. Leung Yuen Sang, Dean of Arts and other members of the Faculty to enhance communication and discuss research collaboration between both sides. Participating CUHK members included Prof. Sidney Cheung, Associate Dean of Arts; Prof. Lai Pan Chiu, Associate Dean of Arts; Prof. Tam Wai Lun, Chairman of the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies; Prof. Thomas Lee, Chairman of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages; and Prof. Cheng Chung Yi, Chairman of the Department of Philosophy. ------------------------------------------- Vice-President of Jilin University Visits CUHK
Prof. Wu Zhenwu, Vice-President of Jilin University, led a 3-member delegation to visit the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of CUHK. Prof. Zhou Yaming, Assistant President of Fudan University, led a 4-member delegation to visit CUHK on 18 November.
