Blood and Book Giving - A Challenge of Blood Donation Relay: Enthusiastically Received

The last session of the first round of Blood Donation Campaign for this academic year took place on 29 October.  This Centre had availed itself of this occasion to hold the "Blood and Book Giving - A Challenge of Blood Donation Relay" which attracted participation of over 60 CUHK students and staff.

Besides helping people who require blood transfusion, participants who accepted the challenge won a new book donated and autographed by the authors namely Dr. Allan Au Ka-lun, Dr. Derrick Au Kit-sing, Prof. Edwin Chan Ho-yin, Mr. Walter Cheung Shu-wai, Prof. Chow Po-chung, Prof. Donna Chu Shun-chi and Prof. Joseph Sung Jao-yiu.  During this session, all blood donors were also settled in a relaxed and comfortable environment accompanied with music, documentary and informative videos.

The "Blood and Book Giving - A Challenge of Blood Donation Relay" has come to an end for now.  That said, this Centre counts on your continued support to the cause which helps people requiring blood transfusion.
