Hong Kong Scholars Programme is now open for application. The Programme aims to help professors in Hong Kong engage high quality PhD graduates from leading universities on the mainland to undertake postdoctoral research work and training in Hong Kong. The stipend of the scholars will be shared between the mainland government and the Hong Kong supervisors. The Office of Academic Links (China) will coordinate the applications of CUHK members and offer administrative support to the scholars and their host supervisors before and during the stay in Hong Kong.
You are cordially invited to apply for being one of the Hong Kong supervisors under the programme. Applicants should be at the rank of associate professor or above. Successful applicants in 2016 are not eligible to participate in the new round of 2017.
The programme was jointly launched by the Society of Hong Kong Scholars and the China National Postdoctoral Council under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in 2010. Interested staff members should click here for online registration by 9 January 2017 (Monday). All applications will be submitted to the China National Postdoctoral Council via Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre for final selection.
