State MOE 10000 Student Interflow Programme 2018 Receives Applications

Launched in 2013, the State Ministry of Education (MOE) Ten Thousand Student Interflow Programme provides support to a wide variety of exchange activities and projects jointly organized by mainland and local institutions for Hong Kong students. MOE is now receiving project applications for the round of 2018.  Office of Academic Links (China) [OALC] held a briefing session on September 12 this year, introducing the Programme to colleagues and sharing experience in organizing various student activities.

Any joint projects for application have to be conducted between January 1 and December 31, 2018.  Applications will be submitted to MOE by the host institution in mainland China with a confirmation letter jointly signed by the mainland host institution and OALC.  The deadline for submission of project applications by mainland institutions is October 15 this year.  Interested CUHK units please download and complete the reply form, and send it to our Office via email to oalc@cuhk.edu.hk as soon as possible.

Enquiries on applications can be forwarded to Mr. Simon LEUNG of our Office at 39434412 or via simoncnleung@cuhk.edu.hk.

Ambassador Training Sessions for Friends of OALC

Office of Academic Links (China) (OALC) recruited at total of 90 CUHK students as "Friends of OALC" for the new academic year.  Information and training sessions were held on September 19 and 22, with topics covering introduction to CUHK, communication skills, campus tours and interactive sharing among new and experienced Friends of OALC.

Every year, OALC receives hundreds of delegations from mainland China and Taiwan for academic linkage and partnership developments.  Delegations include senior members of universities, scholars and students.  CUHK students are recruited to become Student Ambassadors under our "Friends of OALC Scheme" to help receive delegations and share experience with the delegates on behalf of the University.  They will also be given opportunities to assist in the coordination of academic and student activities with mainland and Taiwan partners.

Winter Activities under CU in Mainland & Taiwan now opens for application!
