Ambassador Training Sessions for Friends of OALC
Office of Academic Links (China) (OALC) recruited at total of 90 CUHK students as "Friends of OALC" for the new academic year. Information and training sessions were held on September 19 and 22, with topics covering introduction to CUHK, communication skills, campus tours and interactive sharing among new and experienced Friends of OALC.
Every year, OALC receives hundreds of delegations from mainland China and Taiwan for academic linkage and partnership developments. Delegations include senior members of universities, scholars and students. CUHK students are recruited to become Student Ambassadors under our "Friends of OALC Scheme" to help receive delegations and share experience with the delegates on behalf of the University. They will also be given opportunities to assist in the coordination of academic and student activities with mainland and Taiwan partners.
